Prior to the pandemic, we enjoyed embracing the Community aspect of CSA, with several events throughout the year. We’ve had welcoming parties, potlucks, farm visits, Halloween parties for the kids, and cooking classes. These have been a great way to get to know other CSA members and to swap tips for produce storage and cooking. We can’t wait to get back to having events like these and getting to spend time together!
Season Kick-off Welcoming Party
Prior to the pandemic, we would kick off the year with a welcoming party where members could drop in, meet CSA staff and other members, share a glass of wine, and try some of our Add-On Options!

2018 Halloween Party
The kids had much fun at pick-up on Tuesday as they were able to celebrate Halloween a day early! Our kiddos came dressed in their costumes, made their own masks and had some scary treats. And they were more than excited to leave with their own bag of Halloween fun.

2018 Trip to the Farm
In September, all members were invited up to one of our farms who hosted a yummy cookout picnic and then took us on an exciting and educational tour.

2018 Private Cooking Class at JCC
This was our second class at the Marlene Myerson JCC Manhattan this season; this one focused on making jams, pickling and other jar storage! Members who attended learned a lot, had fun, and took their creations home.
